Kenya: Stop the Bloodshed

A presidential election tainted by vote-tampering – now Kenya’s future hangs in the balance, as violence breaks out across the country. Hundreds have already been killed and tens of thousands displaced – we need to act fast.

Mediators like Archbishop Desmond Tutu and the African Union are in Nairobi right now. But if their efforts are to succeed, governments around the world must avoid the mistake of prematurely recognising a fraudulently elected president.

Let’s send a wave of messages to our own leaders, asking them to hold off until agreement is reached and the results are independently reviewed
