Avoiding social networks is a fantastic way to avoid having your info marketed. Myself, I only use Flickr and Twitter which both have a function. The traditional networks (Facebook, Myspace etc) have had my info removed and profiles deleted. Reducing your digital footprint is a great idea, more folk need to do it.
